Unlike any Titanic story I’ve read or seen, Dr. Fereidun Shokatfard’s work blends poetry and reflection to offer a dreamlike, almost meditative experience of the tragedy. This is not a historical account, but a spiritual journey—one that invites readers to consider not just what happened on that fateful night, but what it means for us today. Inspired by a survivor’s memory and carried by lyrical storytelling, the book feels like a quiet conversation with the past. It's brief, haunting, and unexpectedly introspective—a compelling read for those open to a more soulful take on history.

This was a really nice and refreshing take on a rather well-covered topic - Titanic. It was nice that the author knew one of the survivors and could weave that into the story on a personal basis. Telling the story through poetry was really kind of cool. Long story short, if you would like a quick read and would enjoy a unique perspective on Titanic, this book is well worth a look.
